These sheets are made available to parents or teachers who need additional resources to support their child's or students' progress in spelling.
This spelling program is organized on the basis of word endings that are used to construct words. This is how our brains actually construct words. This will naturally expand to further word building as they study suffixes and prefixes. Included are a few important exercises which will reinforce the memory of the words, including their meanings. Connecting the words to their meaning and to the students' own creative usage while writing sentences, will fortify that memory. This format is different than the usual format of random lists, which I find less effective.
Feel free, as a teacher or parent, to copy these sheets for your students or child, and modify them to suit their needs. However, you do not have permission to copy these sheets to another website or to publish them in any way.
Group 1 is most appropriate fro Grade 2 or 3.
Group 2 is more appropriate for Grades 3 to 5.
Printing Practice are just a few sheets for the practice of printing.
Reading Lists are printable cards for the practice of reading or spelling of high frequency words.
Letter Sound Correspondence are labels or cards for the practice of letter to sound relationships.
